    Australia: PM sets election date

My comment was responding to a comment about the Australian election of 18th-May-2019. Australia has no political party called "Democratic" nor any called "Republican". And the 2016 federal election in Australia had little to do with what USA voters may may not have wanted.

The Great Emergency: The Case For Sunday Laws

Seventh Day Adventism and alleged Sunday Laws go hand in hand as a sign of the end times. But I don't see Sundays being hedged about by civil laws enforcing its observance as a holy day and forcing Saturday observers to observe Sunday on pain of terrible consequences. Sunday is a normal trading...

    Credobaptism

Well, if baptism is a symbol that does nothing spiritual because water is not magic and baptism does not save or wash away sins and if baptism has nothing to do with being born from above then why complain when people don't take seriously your view of this merely symbolic empty ritual?

God forbid that I should support the lawless one - Donald Trump - he may be then end of the USA as a prosperous nation and possibly the harbinger of destructive wars.

I think you've said what you said before. But here is a comment from the notes in the New American Bible Revised Edition. Romans 1-11] To defend the gospel against the charge that it promotes moral laxity (cf ⇒ Romans 3:5-8), Paul expresses himself in the typical style of spirited diatribe...

    Impeach him now

If one sings God bless America (meaning the USA) then that must be a prayer for the impeachment, conviction, and jailing of Donald. :smirk:

    Australia: PM sets election date

He is not yet elected and there is no impeachment his party or the parliament would just dismiss him from office. If he committed a crime he'd be indicted, tried, and if found guilty sentenced. The PM is not above the law and his term of office does not protect him from criminal or civil law.

I pray God that they are not like Donald, neither conservative nor liberal (USA terminology). As an aside in Australia the conservative parties are called The Liberal Party of Australia and The National Party of Australia while the left leaning parties are called The Australian Labor Party and...

Let's not go down that garden path Mennosota. My question is about what the passages say; specifically, (Matthew 28:19-20) Therefore, go forth and teach all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have ever...

I understand; it is very easy to misunderstand a written question. No blame is attributable for that. But now, I hope, the question is understood and we can progress from here. I think that the question is answerable; it is a request for passages in holy scripture that teach that baptism...

Water is not present in the great commission. Water is rarely mentioned with baptism. Do you take that to imply that one ought to be baptised in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit without water?

The Coming Civil War Over Abortion

It is possible to let individuals decide for themselves if they want to have a baby or not - which is effectively how things are now. Laws prohibiting abortions will probably mean women who can afford it will go to a neighbouring state or country to receive an abortion. Poor women will be the...

The passage that is quoted says that one is united with Christ in baptism rather than that baptism signified union with Christ. The difference is significant. In the former baptism effects the union. In the latter baptism would only be a symbol of it. The passage that is quoted says that one is...

My first comment was not a question but I appreciate your reply and I see the humour of the response. Good fortune with the thread and the plan that you have. I really do have sympathy for you when dealing with these Anabaptist related allegations.
