    new birth John 3:10-13

Yes, it is usually a temporary filling of the Spirit sometimes for a specific action that the person is taking. But, it isn't a indwelling like it is on and after pentecost

    new birth John 3:10-13

David Guzik has an interesting commentary on this at this site https://www.blueletterbible.org/Comm/guzik_david/StudyGuide2017-Jhn/Jhn-3.cfm?a=1000003 Regarding Nicodemus' question Guzik writes How can a man be born when he is old? In His description of new birth, Jesus recalled a familiar...

    new birth John 3:10-13

In John 3:10-13 Jesus is speaking with Nicodemus and he says 10 Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things? 11 Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness. 12 If I have...

New Carpet in your congregation's church building

I guess it depends on how much it costs. If it is a small repair then the building committee would probably handle getting estimates and getting it replaced. If it was going to cost a lot or be a large area then the building committee would bring a motion to the church and then the church...

    Power/Might of Satan

Good Morning, Good Afternoon, Good Evening, Good Night, Good Day!

I had an interview on Christmas Eve. About an hour after the interview I called them and said I wasn't interested. Part of the reason for that is that I had interviewed already with another company that I was more interested in.

    DNA testing

I might do DNA testing depending on the cost of the test. I am curious, but not that curious.

    Power/Might of Satan

When you look at how the devil tempted Jesus you see that he tries to appeal to pride and our flesh. He doesn't want you thinking about others than yourself. Jesus referred to him as a murderer and a liar and Paul refers to him as a roaring lion. His power shouldn't be under estimated. We need...

What do you appreciate about other denominational beliefs/churches?

I grew up in the Methodist church. The emphasis on discipleship and service is admireable. Oh, I've heard that Lutherans can be nice. :=D:

    Any New Year's Resolutions?

I don't call them resolutions, but around the end of the year is a time for reflection. I decided to change jobs this December and am starting my new job February 6. I also want to take care of my health better and joined a gym.

    Change in (US) American Christianity?

God always keeps a remnant of his people for himself and the church will always prevail. Perhaps not a denomination, but the true church prevails
