    Was traveling all morning and early afternoon. Due to a flight delay I literally had no time at all between my connecting flight. 5 more minutes and I would have been too late. I got home and did some laundry and rested for a while. Waiting to hear back from mom about how my dad's tests went.

    I just spent a couple of days down in Texas seeing my dad. He is in the hospital due to a heart attack and will have to have a procedure this week. They did a test today and I haven't heard yet from the doctor regarding the scan that was done. I am back now at home and hopefully the procedure...

    Paul admonished them to follow Christ and nobody else. You are right that they were carnal. That is why there were divisions among them. They seemed to have a pride problem and wanted to speak in tongues. But, Paul told them the better spiritual gifts were ones where they exhorted others.
