    Justification or Sanctification Differences

Both of the verses you quoted apply to the process of becoming one of the just (or righteous since just and righteous are translations of the same words in Hebrew and Greek) and the just live by faith which means the righteous live by means of faith in God.

    Justification or Sanctification Differences

Catholics see Justification as the process of being made righteous by God's grace in the lives of the faithful. Catholics see sanctification as being made holy (set apart for service to God in whatever role he calls the faithful to live their lives).

    Purgatory?

The word purge is in the bible. At least it is in real 73 book bibles :) Oh look, purge is also in the KJV. 2 Chronicles 34:3 For in the eighth year of his reign, while he was yet young, he began to seek after the God of David his father: and in the twelfth year he began to purge Judah and...

    Reformation Sunday

Catholics regard the liturgical colours as signifying mysteries of the faith. Thus white, the symbol of light, typifies innocence and purity, joy and glory; red, the language of fire and blood, indicates burning charity and the martyrs' generous sacrifice; green, the hue of plants and trees...

    Purgatory?

One prayer and then death and then paradise in which the robber on the cross next to Jesus' cross is no longer a robber and no longer wants to sin because whatever motived him before and controlled his life has been purged (removed) from him by God's grace.

    Purgatory?

Repentance is necessary and it is a grace from God and it is godly sorrow for one's sins.

What if the Pope tweeted like Donald Trump does?

    Anyone planning on...

It doesn't look like saint Peter's in Vatican. Those indulgence sales sure did help to build a big church building. I've never been to Rome but the pictures suggest that St Peter's is HUGE on the inside. It looks huge on the outside too.

I think unity is important but not without true and accurate doctrine. Unity without truth is not so good.

Big isn't it? Is it Catholic or is it Episcopal?

So... What are YOU doing? - Part 4

I am sorry. I did pray, but it wasn't specifically about finding the place. But God did grant you safety on the roads and you're back with us. I am sorry though that you missed the Oktober fest and the church service. I did try not to be too naughty :)

What if the Pope tweeted like Donald Trump does?

Albion, that'd be because Francis is alive today (as far as I know, no news headlines about the sudden death of the pope today).

    Reformation Sunday

But Mr Luther died of old age (well, technically the illnesses of old age really) so why red? Red is for martyrs.
