    i can understand this feeling as it is hard to accept sometimes that we don't do anything to earn our salvation in the first place. We never did or do deserve it and can't earn it. It is literally impossible for our flesh to earn it. But, that is humbling to realize our state of helplessness...

    Can speaking in tongues be faked or learned?

    There is little way to tell if it is truly speaking in tongues if there is no interpretation of what the person said. I think that most of what passes for speaking in tongues today is just rambling nonsense, but that is just my opinion and I could be wrong

    the death penalty is not something that stops people from committing crimes and as far as I can tell never has. I do think that it is morally justified in some cases. But, that is not for an individual to decide if that is warranted, but a jury to decide. Some people just deserve to die for...

    I don't wonder who is giving orders to keep them secret. It is clear to me that Trump is saying the opposite of what he is saying publicly in private. Just like he is lying that he wasn't briefed in May that his name was in the files by the justice department.

    Sending people off to prisons in other countries without due process? ICE arrested or detaining people just because they look foreign or hispanic without any proof that they are illegal. It's hard to tell. He's made so many bad choices

    I think this verse says something about how depraved the nature of man is apart from God. Literally we can do nothing of spiritual value apart from Him.
