    I like consistency so around the 25 minute mark is good and then people get tired of sitting and you start to hear the rustling around you. Our attention spans are not what they were in Jesus' day so we prefer an abbreviated version it seems.

    Scripture does not show that the households ONLY baptized the adults and there is no such proof you'll ever find. But we know that households included infants as a most likely scenario. We also know that God uses means to provide for all His children, not just adults.

    If the baptized baby remains in faith then yes, that baby is a brother and sister in Christ. Baptizing and teaching are to go together. At some point that child will make a confession of faith that confirms what the child already believes concerning the Savior and forgiveness of sins.

    There's history concerning how children were treated in ancient days...they weren't looked upon highly like how we adore our children and oh look at what Johnnie just did, etc... They valued their sons but needed them to be old enough to help work. Children were viewed as weak burdens on society...
