    I was about 14 when I was taught how to swim and it was in high school gym class. The teacher taught me very quickly but I was overweight and buoyant so, yeah, no big deal.

    This is correct. It is the Holy Spirit using the Word that changes man. We plant seeds but we cannot do the Holy Spirit's job. I am not one for testimonies and never have been. God doesn't always change people the way the testimony goes and that can bring others down thinking God doesn't care...

    Asking forgiveness

    Sometimes when I ask for forgiveness I feel like throwing up because I don't know if it will be accepted :( I know I don't deserve it and forgiveness is always a gift.

    Starbucks isn't the same throughout their locations even though they go through training. The one near me is AWFUL! I don't even crave it anymore. I think coffee is an acquired taste though and if you like it one way you might not always like it that way as you age.

    What do you miss about being a kid?

    I miss having snow days. I miss having my mom put plastic bread bags over my feet before shoving them in boots that were too tight and weren't waterproof. I miss taking 20 minutes to bundle up and then going outside and only lasting 10 minutes in the cold! Oh, I think I still do that LOL

    There are some schools where different grade levels leave at different times. It's rare but sometimes that's a good idea.

    When we ask for something and the Lord provides, it is because what we are asking is in line with God's will. If it's not God's will, He doesn't give it to us, so it's not about how much faith we have but whether we are in line with God's will and plan for us.
