Be good or you won't get into heaven

I think the sins mentioned as keeping one out of heaven will most certainly keep you out if not forgiven (repented of, asked for,) those pesky works that keep creeping in

Why are Christians so old-fashioned about sex?

To me the bible is clear and I think many Christians avoid it like the plaugue because it is so black and white and so many are guilty of sexual sin in one way or another
  10. psalms 91

    Work Out Salvation

Work out your salvation with fear and trembling. Please notice WORK OUT and SALVATION, now what could this mean? I mean after all it is being argued that we contribute nothing so I guess these words must not mean what they say, right?

  16. psalms 91

    Passive Righteousness

You seem to focus exclusively on that verse, it does not say that they cant be shown their foolishness, as in go ye forth into all the world, why, because many will be saved because of this. If God does it all then what need to ever preach or teach the Word to anyone, God will just do it all
  17. psalms 91

    Passive Righteousness

As with the prodigal you will reach the end of yourself and find wisdom or as with sadly some you die in your foolishness
  18. psalms 91

Should Psalms be used to support doctrine?

As with all scripture everything in context matched with other scripture. There are many things in Psalms including prophecy of the Messiah so yes we need to examine and use Psalms but only in the correct context
  19. psalms 91

    Passive Righteousness

As with any gift we have to accept it and open it for it to be, if not then it just sits there. So it is with salvation, we bring our sinful self to God who then begins to clean us up if we are willing. If we dont have a choice and it is all God then I think every person who went to hell has a...
