    We live in the basement of a big apartment so we didn't hear much. They didn't scare her much. She (my dog Peanut) gets scared of the unknown. Of things she can't see as we are in the basement and people are upstairs or right outside our window making noises.

    I can understand that but they give you packets and other things to read and if your are not old enough yet you have to have your parents permission to join so I think most people who want to join either wanted to join for a long time or either has a family or friend in the military.
