    I was interested until yesterday when I saw a different preview where a man asked a woman how he could see the Messiah and she said, "Open your heart". That reeks of decision theology that I don't believe in. God reveals Himself to us by His Word, not by us opening our heart (which isn't biblical).

    The problem I always see is that the preachers getting rich off those books sell a "me theology" instead of a theology of the cross. I cringe when I see some of their work.

    The proper burial for Jews wasn't just to put spices on. What the men did was to prepare the body until it could be attended to after the Sabbath. That's why the women returned, the body needed to be washed, oiled and have spices placed on before it was wrapped.

    I thought that because of how late it was, that Jesus couldn't have been given a "proper" burial until after the Sabbath, so the men used the spices to help ward off the stench of the decay of death. The women went to the tomb afterward to give him a proper burial and yes, that included spices...

    Corporate prayer and individual prayer are BOTH pleasing to God. My church does not have a daily tradition for prayer, but there are suggested prayers we could use throughout the day which are nice.

    At the company I work at, overhead is probably billed into the estimates for each project, but only at certain rates. The client agrees to that estimate for paying. So when something like this comes up, is she billing over and beyond the estimate and not doing the work that the client expected?

    By law companies are forced to allow nursing mothers to have time to pump but it's up to the company to work it out with the individual if they receive payment during that time they're pumping. At least that's what I read when I googled. I'm not sure how current the article was. My complaint...
