    I thought all Lutheran churches did as well. When I was choir director at my former church and would go there to practice on my own the eternal light was a true comfort to me and a reminder that I wasn't really alone.

    Galatians 3:27 For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. Christ obeyed the Law perfectly and in my baptism I have been clothed in Christ's righteousness. This is why I do not have to follow the Law for salvation because Christ covers me.
