    Faith is a gift from God. It is fed by God's Word and sacraments. It is grown by God. The Holy Spirit guides us into doing the works He has planned for us. If you're doing works to gain something, then you're not doing it by faith but by Law.

    Jesus of course preached Law to the people when they needed to hear it. The Law is given to show us our sin. The Gospel is given to comfort us and it speaks of God doing. What you don't understand is that some verses actually contain BOTH Law and Gospel.

    Soundproof? Where I work women don't make the loud noises in the bathroom that men do! I don't want to hear it. And yeah the men's bathroom is far worse in smell than the women's. Our cubicles have openings at the bottom and tops but also on each side of the door so anyone washing their hands...
