Whats the weather like where you live? (part 3)

64F out right now but will get up to upper 70s and sunny. Too bad the cottonwood is flying or I'd be able to go outside and enjoy the day without allergies.

There's a concrete brick in the bottom of your washing machine

I wish! They have to be shaped a certain way to allow for bolts to slide in on the sides and that's attached to a bracket on top to keep it in place in the bottom pan. There is an overhang shape too so it's not a regular rectangular shape all the way.

There's a concrete brick in the bottom of your washing machine

Yeah seriously! "Let's just put a heavy brick down there and that'll do the trick."

There's a concrete brick in the bottom of your washing machine

Lucky for me that I have very tiny hands and was able to re-use my existing brick and bracket...AND I didn't have to disassemble the entire washer (tiny hands can maneuver in small places). Testing it out now and it sounds good so far. We'll see how long it holds.

There's a concrete brick in the bottom of your washing machine

Okay so maybe not all washing machines have them but the majority of the ones most likely do to counterweight the heavy motor that's in them. Mine became disengaged from it's bracket so now I'm trying to order a replacement and it's almost a hundred dollars! For a concrete block! I could scream.

    Credobaptism

When I read about baptism I see that one member of a household believed and then had his entire household baptized.

    If paedobaptism were taught...

Can you provide proof where there were no children in the households? The odds are not in your favor on this according to historical facts of how the Jews/Israelites felt about family and children being a blessing from God besides the fact that they did not have birth control AND the servants...

    Credobaptism

So now baptism is dependent on YOU deciding whether they can first meet your standards before baptism is allowed? How much repentance are you looking for? What signs of faith must be shown to you for you to be satisfied?

    Let's build my garden!

This year the neighbor's cottonwood trees are polluting the area so bad that neither my husband nor myself can be outside for very long to do yard work (allergies)...and that includes preparing my garden this year. :( I have 2 pot containers that I planted Basil, Cilantro and Spinach and...

Evangelical Only Do Evangelicals have canonized Saints?

George and I were talking about this and he was asking me why some Baptist have in their bibles Saint Mark and Saint Paul but not Saint Moses and why am I not Saint Kathy in their eyes? What makes Mark and Paul from the bible saints but not other people if they aren't canonized?

    If paedobaptism were taught...

Now why would tradition for over a thousand year think that households included children for baptism until the 1500s? The answer would lie in how the Israelites/Jews thought of children being a blessing from God. With very few exceptions they had large households and those households included...

    Just a reminder

Don't stand in front of an outside faucet when you're turning it on. You'll get all wet. Just a reminder. :biglaugh: You can learn from my mistakes.

    Credobaptism

Menno, where do you find in the bible that Jesus authorized any one other than human beings to be baptized? And I don't mean "to wash" as in tables. I mean Christian baptism.

    Are babies sinners?

Number 2. Everyone is sinful. Everyone needs a Savior.
