    I think scripture makes clear that those who are in the spirit are not under the Law but those who are carnal are and I dont know about you but what i see is a lot of Christians that are carnal and worldly and therefore under the Law.

    Basically the whole New Testament. When Jesus appeared unto the ones on the road to Emmaus does it not say they had their eyes opened and all the times He appeared until He went up. Then the teaching by the apostles throughout the New Testament

    Have you changed denominations?

    I love the teaching at the Penteciostal church but it is very small, maybe 8 to 10 people so it is self contained and not much chance for doing things that help people so i go to the methodist church which I grew up in and volunteer and help out where I can. It is important to me to help people.

    They knew it after He rose and appeared unto them. You cannot take a verse from Luke before His death and squeeze it into Cor which was after. Their understanding was completely different at that point

    They did not preach the same gospel because it was to different audiances with different levels of understanding, bottom line is that they all preached jesus Christ crucified and risen as the saviour of the world. Did not matter if you were Jewish or a prostelite, a gentile or a seeker.

    Not a stretch at all Menno, can you not see the correlation between God leading his people out of Egypt to the promised land with salvation? You should look at the Jewish things closer as there is much to be learned by doing so
