Hands down one of my favorite films from the 1970s "The Network", I'm sure many here remember or have seen the movie before.
Frightening how people high in the wealthy elite view the world in this way but I find it a fascinating dialog none the less, many great scenes in this film...
Any way...
I like a good debate and often listen to them in the morning at work to pass the time when prepping for the day.
This morning I was listening to a debate between a Muslim and a Christian regarding the death of Christ on the cross.
Turns out it's all a matter of perspective to the Muslim, the...
The Jewish 'day' begins at sunset, if Jesus spent three days and three nights why are we always told that Jesus was buried Friday evening and was resurrected Sunday morning? That's barely 36 hours, no where near 3 days...
Thoughts?

This is my second attempt of bringing this matter to attention and I simply ask for a peer review.
Now, mind you that I have to use a video as the apologist (and a very good one) explains it better than I can.
Jump in about 5:50 in and he brings up a very interesting point.
It's a bit of a...
Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus: Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all...
God tells us we should forgive our trespassers, does this mean that we should tell them personally that we forgive them or does it mean that we should forgive them in our heart and keep it only between yourself and God?
Just had a thought and it may or not be significant but...
Cain was the first baby born on Earth and we can all agree that he was born into Sin.
Jesus was the first (one and only) Sinless baby born on Earth and we are baptised in him and reborn Spiritually.
I find it a true juxtaposition, type...
I consider Johnny Carson to be the king of late night, timeless and classic.
I liked David Letterman and Leno when they were around and Conan is a hilarious fellow. As for the others, Kimmel and Colbert, not really my taste, I used to really like Steve Colbert until he jumped on the "lets bash...
I just want to say what an amazing God we serve, I have noticed so many of my close personal and highschool friends proclaiming their faith in the Lord lately.
To know a person and they were and then to see them transform is a beautiful way to witness Gods working grace in his people today. :)
Do you believe the message has been preached throughout the world?
This untouched group who figures around 40 - 200 individuals are named after their island the "sentinal" which means "guarding", they reject all outside contact and have yet to be preached the gospel of Salvation.
Will we ever...
I found this very interesting.
The first video is on Calvinism but it speaks much on the Arminian responses as well, and the second video is visa versa.

Not sure where to post this so I I wish to keep it here.
Consider it kind of like a game I, what's the first word that comes to mind when you hear the name Jesus..
Note: you may list a few but I prefer one word at a time to get the discussion started :)
If I may...
Forgiveness
"For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit." 1 Corinthians 12:13
No human hand nor organization can touch it, we All (worldly/universally/Jew and Gentiles alike and believers...
I apologise for serving media to CH lately but I find it a bit of fresh air to watch a simple illustration explaining with ease what seems to be a great confusion amongst many theologians today.
Case and point -Son of man, just why did Jesus not refer to himself as Messiah or Christ...
