    On the news I watched (it happened near me) the police had been watching him in the van and saw him light the cigarette. It was after that the police opened the door and shot in the chest. I am not one who automatically blames the police; the report looked very bad for the police who shot him...

    His gf was interviewed on the news: This is according to his gf who was sitting right next to him: Her bf had already lit his cigarette and was sitting there smoking and the police officer opened the door and shot him twice in the chest. Strangely it was not on the news the following day...
