    Drain the Hollywood Swamp

I watch maybe one or two movies in the theater at the most these days, so their income isn't based off of profits from me. The movies themselves seem more and more dark and violent these days. I guess it is a sign of the times we live in.

    celebrating Halloween

The Holidays are really tough for me as a diabetic and I do have a bit of a sweet tooth and have trouble sometimes saying no. I'm type 2, but my doctor calls my a hybrid because my body acts much like a type 1 would. If I go off my diet even for a little while my blood sugar can easily go up...

    celebrating Halloween

I realize this is late but the more I think about it the less I want to participate in any way with Halloween this year. Seems like an entirely pagan holiday that I should not have a part in. I don't know why I feel this way this year and haven't in years past. Here is a article about...

    What is your spiritual gift?

There are different kinds of gifts but the same Spirit. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. (1 Cor. 12:4-5) Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms. (1 Pet. 4:10) Just as each of us has...

I think it actually goes deeper than that. I think that many people are biblically ignorant and have no knowledge of church history at all.
