    LAW and GOSPEL

We have the new creations ability to not sin, from glory to glory but not the practice because it's a daily exercise of following Him.That's why we have a mediator for when any sin occurs, when every thought needs to be brought captive to Christ. I was trying to find an old study about the...

The twelve gates of Revelation's New Jerusalem

Here's an illustration of where the gates are according to Ezekial Ezekial 48:31 The north side's gates are Reuben, Judah and Levi Ezelial 48:32 The gates on the east side are Joseph, Benjamin and Dan Ezekial 48:33 The south side's gates are Simeon, Issachar and Zebulun Ezekial 48:34 The gates...

The twelve gates of Revelation's New Jerusalem

Remnant is probably the wrong word for the sheep of the NT because in the OT that refers to God-fearing Israelites becoming priests. Paul also speaks of them in Romans as the remnant. Zechariah 8:20-23 Thus saith the Lord of hosts; It shall yet come to pass, that there shall come people, and...

    Transgender bathrooms

Yah, it's not a good method. You would think they would at least have something separate for children but that would be too 'unsupervised' SMH

    Transgender bathrooms

It's not the parents with children that go into the washrooms that worries me. It's the children that go in there alone and are at risk from strangers.

What do you think of the apostles' creed?

This is actually the biblical apostolic testimony 1 John 5 13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. 14 And this is the confidence that we have in him...

    Transgender bathrooms

The real problem for me would be that of a young girl going into a closed room followed by a man and no one thinking of that girl's safety. Or would you dad's just go in there too? It's a ridiculous question to even ponder when the privacy of the gay community is placed above the needs of the...

The twelve gates of Revelation's New Jerusalem

There is no doubt in my mind that the wheat and tares of Sardis, Thyratira, Philadelphia and Laodocea are the conditions found in christianity today. Philadelephia is the only one that the Lord has no words of condemnation for. Philadelphia is what followed the reformation. A time of small power...

Do I need the Gospel after becoming a Christian?

What do you think of the apostles' creed?

The apostle did not say, "I know what I have believed," but "I know whom I have believed" 2 Timothy 1:12 That is why I am suffering as I am. Yet this is no cause for shame, because I know whom I have believed, and am convinced that he is able to guard what I have entrusted to him until that day.

I guess they're just trickling in now ;-)

What do you think of the apostles' creed?

The reason I came to this forum is the lack of postulating to man-made allegiances. And will feel justified in leaving if that changes.

Do I need the Gospel after becoming a Christian?

What's distinctive about this post is the soils. Rebirth comes from hearing the word of God which all 4 types did and received. Is that not the criteria for salvation. It seems to me that only 1/4 of those saved are commended by the Lord to develope into maturity and ready for the harvest and...

What do you think of the apostles' creed?

I believe creeds to be unnecessary because denominations place upon them their own definition and by pledging allegiance to them instead of God's Word one places themselves under a creed instead of the Holy Spirit

    Absolute versus relative morality.

Now that would be an opinion wouldn't it. No, dedicated maybe, but that's the parents dedicating themselves to the upbringing of the child in the Christian Way.

    Absolute versus relative morality.

Motive and opinions are the downfall of mankind imo. The church that Paul revealed to us thru his ministry is one of Jesus speaking and the church listening. IOW Actions according to the word w/o ulterior motive. Our motives, our opinions even when right are wrong.

Do I need the Gospel after becoming a Christian?

What is important to me is having the guidance of the Holy Spirit in all areas of my life and the means of the Holy Spirit to guide me is bringing to remembrance the things of Christ. I have a good memory for recalling scripture and, I think, very adapt at discerning false doctrine but in my day...
