I think that is part of it. When you see something very beautiful it is hard not to pause and look at it. But the rose windows of the middle ages are so theologically dense and so profound that modern folk like us ought to pause to think about our heritage in the Christian faith.

God does not exist in the same what that you do or in the same way that any creature does. God is not one among the many; just another albeit a greater being.

Wasn't it in the East that pogroms were common long after such unseemly persecution ceased in most of the West?
Yes, but how many of the people in those denominations accept the Blessed Trinity? Can we, here in CH, agree that the doctrine of the Holy Trinity is what we believe and want to see taught in our religion?
I like most of the people with whom I have had the privilege to exchange messages here in CH. Even when I disagree strongly with their doctrine.
