I am well aware of the Smalkald Articles. I also said that I agree that it is an abuse to not offer both and that both must be present for consecration, which would be in alignment with the articles. What the articles don't state is that the communicant must receive both. I think the right and...
I believe that most (all?) Lutherans believe that to be a valid consecration both bread and wine need to be consecrated. Luther and the Confessions were/are against keeping one from the people as was the practice until V2, but I am unaware of a teaching that says one must take both kinds.
I am...
I am not implying that we should not have both available, merely that the grace of the sacrament is fulfilled in the taking of one or the other, taking both is not necessary in that regard. Pre-covid my church offered a common chalice and cups, the choice left to the member. I think this is a...
In all honesty I have only drank from the chalice once - when I completed the RCIA class and it was my first communion in the RCC. I never did it since that time, and I still don't. It is not necessary to commune with both species, so I only take the cup when it is individual cups.
My church has been doing live services for a while, maybe since last July or August. Social distancing and masks are required for everyone, and no kneeling at the altar rail for communion.

My church (Lutheran) will have both in person and virtual Holy Week services, which is a real blessing. I am looking forward to the week, I have always found it to be profound and really a highlight of the Church...
I don't have one, so long as they are used as aides in devotion. I have a couple of icons I bought in Greece and Spain that I really like, Jesus and St. Mark.
I use a Rosary on occasion as well, I don't mind crucifixes either. But then, I think you will find more acceptance of these among...
I met my wife on Tinder....things are great. :)
Honestly, it was OK, better than some other services. The women I did meet in person were generally as presented, not completely physically, but personality wise they were. But I still had a nice time with them even if it was not a "match" in the end.
The Bible speaks of people that had certain conditions and that those conditions were caused by demons. It does not necessarily meant that those conditions could not also be caused by other mental or physical issues. So, those people may have had demons, but that does not mean that everyone that...
I am not sure, but apparently there are. That said, just because something is old and found in Hebrew or Aramaic, it does not automatically make it scripture.
Edit*
Also, I would not say texts found in Qumran is "among the early Jews", as that community was 1st Century, not "early" Jewish.
Yes, they have been open since around May or June of last year. Most make you register for a time to view and wear a mask. I went to the Dali Museum a few weekends past.
