    Once Saved Always Saved

Yes I agree Hebrews 10:19-20 For those not familiar with the 'Old Testament tabernacle' that God built, the tabernacle was divided into 2 sections, the Holy Place and the Holy of Holies (where God's glory resides) that was separated by the veil. The altar of sacrifice was outside of the tent...

    Water and Bread of Life

It is important to differentiate between believing and receiving. Most have been taught that to believe is the end-all of salvation but scripture says that even the demons believe. What's important is the receiving. John 1:12 Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name...

Sunday is God's day of Worship

Visionary suggested opening another thread on another topic to another poster. No one is disputing that more than 1/7 of time should be devoted to God. But if keeping the sabbath daily is really your thing you would never leave your tent. I don't go to church on Saturday or Sunday. I'm just...

Sunday is God's day of Worship

I think it's obvious from the statues of Constantine and Jupiter that he wasn't a christian at all. (or not until rumored at his deathbed). But I have no idea what that has to do with worshipping a false God. Constantine had nothing to do with the outcome of the councils that he arranged.That...

    7 Spirits of God

From the verses that you quoted only Rev 1:4 has an identification as to the 7 spirits. The rest are verbs to say something about them. We can see that Christ and the 7 are there. Rev 1:12-13 explains that what is described as being there is Christ and 7 lampstands. What's that describing but...

    7 Spirits of God

As great as the angels are they are still created beings and as such cannot be equalized with Father and Son as a source of grace which can only come from the divine. If it were to refer to angels then that infers that angel worship or invocation of angels is proper, which of course it isn't.

    7 Spirits of God

Here's a quote from Barnes on Rev 5:6 Albert Barnes' Notes on the Bible .... Which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth. Cmt. on Re 1:4. That is, which represent the seven Spirits of God; or the manifold operations of the one Divine Spirit. As the eye is the symbol of...
