    Infant Baptism

I'm not going to play the did so, did not ... game with you. I posted the passage from holy scripture before. I've lost interest in what you will accept or reject from holy scripture. Do as you please. The case is supported and documented. No further proof is needed. If you you intend is to say...

Is any error cpable of separating one from God?

I agree, a 'carnal' person is not a Christian. The doctrine that creates such a class of Christians is a serious error. It needs to be rejected. I agree, under both covenants that wickedness of a wicked person will separate them from God unless there is repentance and repentance means turning...

Did the Catholic Church change the sabbath day from Saturday to Sunday?

Is that a trick question? God is Lord of everything not just one day in seven but the Lord's day is the day on which the Lord Jesus Christ rose from the grave and so brought life, eternal life, to light for the faithful.

Is any error cpable of separating one from God?

It is a well known and much loved translation. EDIT PS: It is THE MESSAGE a translation that has many of the features of a loose functional equivalence.

Is any error cpable of separating one from God?

Romans 8 says otherwise. With the arrival of Jesus, the Messiah, that fateful dilemma is resolved. Those who enter into Christ's being-here-for-us no longer have to live under a continuous, low-lying black cloud. A new power is in operation. The Spirit of life in Christ, like a strong wind, has...

Is any error cpable of separating one from God?

Romans 8 says they cannot be. It is explicit. The carnal mind is opposed to Cod and is not subject to God's law nor can it be.

    Why was Mary necessary?

I know people like to have diagrams for almost everything nowadays and sometimes a picture can help when explaining a difficult concept but the mystery of God is not really explained by a picture. All of the analogies I've heard have left me wondering how they really help.

    Why was Mary necessary?

I think it is too clever by half as the saying goes. A case of people trying to be smarter than they are and maybe smarter than God. The idea that a drawing on paper is going to explain the mystery of God is close to crazy.

Is any error cpable of separating one from God?

Carnality and persistent worldliness is enmity with God as the holy scriptures say:There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set me free from the law of sin and death. For God has done what the law, weakened by...

Is any error cpable of separating one from God?

Yes, saint Paul warns against worldliness and its consequences but he never heard of a Carnal-Christian, the very idea is anathema to the teaching of Christ.
