    The quotes seriously point to anti-creedal beliefs. The creeds were written to disprove false theologies that had crept into the churches. They're highly important and is the reason we adhere to the Nicene Creed here on the site. It's our Statement of Faith.

    Jesus told the disciples how to make disciples and that's by baptizing and teaching. So throwing water and not teaching about the Savior and forgiveness of sins would do no good, correct? But baptizing and teaching is what Jesus wants.

    Jesus said to baptize all nations, and that includes infants. God is the one who baptizes using the water along with His promises He's attached, so definitely baptize infants as long as there is a plan to teach them the way of faith. Baptizing and teaching is how disciples are made.
