ELCA left Lutheranism beliefs a couple decades ago. None of the other Synods consider them to be anywhere near Lutheran, even though there are some congregations here and there that contain people who are Lutheran, the belief system of the synod doesn't match up to our Book of Concord confessions.
I wasn't going for gifts discussion actually. The Law was given to Moses to give to the people and Moses could only give it to them, because it was first given to him. As believers, we share the Gospel because it was first given to us. I guess my thinking was more simplistic?

Face it, your cousin is most likely not a Christian if he keeps seeking all these other sources you bring up from time to time. He needs to hear about sin, salvation and eternal life through Christ Jesus.
It's possible that the failure of the vaccine wasn't the mRNA portion, but the inactive ingredients such as PEG that they force into their medicines. As someone who had anaphylaxis twice from the Moderna Covid vaccine, I now suffer from a severe PEG allergy and so do thousands of others.
As an amillenial believer, I hold to the fact that Christ died for my sins and will return on Judgment Day and I will have eternal life with him. The Gospel is not compromised in any way.
