    Robin Hood is great for movies, but not real life, especially when one cannot determine who is really rich and who is really poor. Reagan was right when he said the nine scariest words are "we're from the government, and we're here to help".

    It's difficult to determine who's in the right because this amounts to gossip, and we have no way of addressing the elders and finding out what the issues are. On the surface it appears the elders are in the wrong. But without all of the information, it's impossible to make that determination.

    It's presupposed. If God's people are healed (spiritually) by His wounds, then everyone He died for is healed. That better fits the context of the whole passage.

    I'm certain about things Jesus said. He said there would be folks that looked saved, but wouldn't be. He also said there would be people who looked saved who would be. John said if they left, they were never of us. I'm not sure why that's complicated.

    I don't think so. The reason we are called sheep is that we are stupid, stubborn, and prone to wander. It's that very reason we need a shepherd.

    It's easy for those who trust in the finished work of Christ for salvation, and not their own behavior. They know that they can never be good enough. So they've entered into His rest.
