    Infant Baptism

Isn't it just something that Alithis and this new character both accuse others of making up scripture that completely back up a valid point :confused2:

    Infant Baptism

Baptism and teaching go together as Jesus says so infants are not kept from God's Word after baptism which would be wicked so the rest of your post is rubbish and doesn't apply here.

    Infant Baptism

I have known God since infancy and he doesn't deny babies from receiving what he offers.

    Why was Mary necessary?

This heresy that Jesus isn't always God needs to be addressed by members' pastors because that type of theology is gonna trickle down into other areas and who knows what they will be believing because of the first error.

For Those Who Have Not Been Healed

How unloving of those who have these healing powers to not heal all those who need it. Selfishness at its finest.

    Infant Baptism

Jesus says to baptize all nations. Your babies aren't a part of any nations? Your tradition is newer than ours. Ours started when entire households were baptized and continued on, proof is given in the OP for other historical documentation.

    Why was Mary necessary?

Do you believe Jesus is always God? Yes or No. If no, when was Jesus never God? When did He become God according to your beliefs? Answering these questions will speak volumes.

    Forgiven ...

I have motherly qualities that I have had since childhood. It didn't take for me to have my baby before those qualities ever emerged because they were a part of my nature until the time needed and God is like that because doesn't it say in scripture that He is unchanging?

    Infant Baptism

Age of accountability is a man made idea and based upon a different Gospel that babies are automatically saved without the usual "by grace through faith" that our bible declares to be the only one and true Gospel. Age accountability relies on men to decide when someone should be baptized...

    Why was Mary necessary?

Your postings indicate that you are willing to say Mary is the Mother of Jesus. But who is Jesus? Who is this man? He's not God to you apparently if you think you can split him apart as you do because then you have that Nestorian heresy. You have read up on that heresy I assume since it's been...

    Infant Baptism

Baptism and teaching go hand and hand plus it's been pointed out a few times that God's Word is in baptism. Doesn't God's Word get you to understand because that's what scripture tells us. Ephesians 5:26 cleansing her by the washing with water through the word

    Why was Mary necessary?

Absolutely ridiculous. Colossians 2:9 For in Him all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form,

    Infant Baptism

Good thing he didn't baptize the Pharisees either. So what's your point? John's baptism was the forecoming of the true baptism that Jesus told his disciples to do in order to make disciples, baptizing and teaching.

    Misery and mercy

Since scripture doesn't state those specifics I don't care to take a guess and neither should you.

By schisms rent asunder, By heresies distressed ...

You do know that Lutheran doctrine isn't only comprised with beliefs from Martin Luther, now do you? Well, I think you must believe that or you wouldn't have asked that question.

Do you believe God works through means?

What would it have benefited him?

By schisms rent asunder, By heresies distressed ...

Luther didn't start a new denomination and not all of his beliefs were biblical because he changed some of them a few times throughout his life, so no, Lutherans don't follow Luther. It was just a name that stuck after the Roman Catholics didn't want to be corrected on their bad theology and...

    Misery and mercy

^^ This!! Simply stated and yet it speaks volumes!

    Why was Mary necessary?

Where does scripture state that Jesus was not God at any given point?

    Infant Baptism

This caught my eye because the connection of baptism to circumcision is proof that an infant doesn't have to wait to make a decison because the infants being circumcized didn't need to give consent or make a decision to follow the Lord. Think of this that God demanded that the Hebrews circumcize...
