    Maybe you are defining "judgment" differently? We will all be there for Judgment Day...it's just that believes won't be punished for their sins because Jesus took that punishment and we are forgiven.

    That is scary! Have you had a CT scan before? I get them routinely because I had cancer of the tongue and thyroid cancer. It's a fast scan but if they have to put the dye in then it takes a few minutes to get you hooked up. Prayers for you that it's shrunk!

    You're right. Instead of worrying about themselves back in the summer or the election, those who represent the American people should have actually done their jobs and gotten aid out way back then. It's embarrassing really that our government treats us like this and then makes excuses.

    The majority of the people I know who say they "got saved" actually mean that they contributed in some way whether it was giving their heart to Jesus surrendering to Jesus saying a prayer None of them talk about Jesus forgiving them without them first having to do something.

    Yep! You would think that Cleaver, who is a Methodist Pastor would be aware of the actual meaning? I'd be afraid for his congregation if he ever served one.

    You may have heard about this where Rep Cleaver chose to end a prayer by saying Amen and Awoman as if Amen actually referred to gender instead of being Latin for "so be it" or "verily" or "true" or "it is so". This type of stuff really shows how ignorant people are of Christian terms...

    But we're being told all year long that we are living in "unprecedented" times and that we should put off the normal things we do until next year or the year after. So if WE should be putting things off because of covid, then we should do something different with the budget and, I don't know...
