There's a movement, it seems, of Protestants into Orthodox churches.
There's also a demand for KJV + Apocrypha.
The following Video gives testimony to the movement into Orthodoxy.
Catholic Truth Society's - NEW CATHOLIC BIBLE - it's a modified Jerusalem Bible, the modifications bring it into exact conformity with the readings in the lectionary.
A LINOVO P11 Pro Tablet arrived in the mail on Monday.
I spent Time on Tuesday setting it up, copying files from the Teclast T30.
On Wednesday I factory reset the T30 and started to set it up for my brother.
His birthday is soon, so I said he can have the T30 as a gift.

Anointing is a symbol of the Holy Spirit, whose anointing of Jesus as Messiah fulfilled the prophesies of the Old Testament. Christ (in Hebrew, Messiah) means the one anointed by the Holy Spirit. Anointing is also the sacramental sign of confirmation, called Chrismation in the Churches of the...
One day, brother Josiah, you'll stop doing that little . several lines down from the end of your text!
And yes we would miss them. More dearly than many might think. Without them the floodgates for many ancient heresies are opened, as we see in some religious groups today, such as Jehovah's...

Now it has all the...

God bless.
Hmmm, looks like the OP has both; the topic title being "The good Thief", while the original post asks "Was the penitent thief doing a good work, a work of mercy - so to speak - when he defended the Lord Jesus while Jesus was suffering?"
And one of those robbers who were hanged blasphemed him, saying: If thou be Christ, save thyself and us. But the other answering, rebuked him, saying: Neither dost thou fear God, seeing; thou art under the same condemnation? And we indeed justly: for we receive the due reward of our deeds. But...
In the other place, much despised by some here, I've watched some of a debate about baptism and it is interesting how worked up folk get on the doctrine.
All good gifts come from above, says the scripture, meaning, I think, that all good gifts come from God. So, the question is, "is faith a gift? Or is faith a work of the mind and soul of the person exercising it?"
Of course, one can argue that faith is both, and that would be true.
