Anyone who pushes the false doctrine of baby baptism might as well be teaching it.
So, are you saying that only babies of "Christians" can be baptized? Why? Does the faith of the father and/or mother pass by osmosis to the insensate child? That isn't scriptural, either. Certainly, H2O has no power.
We have a church that obeys God with regard to paying their spiritual leaders well. If my pastor looked poor and drove a jalopy on its last legs, what does that tell the world? We bless our leaders with "double honour" and pay them well according to the scriptural admonition.
1 Timothy 5:17 NLT...
Go ye into all the world and grab every baby you see, of Islamic, Buddhist and Hindu parentage and baptize them. What will that do for them? If it saves them, then why aren't you doing it?
No one is denying that Mary was highly favoured by God. We call her blessed, and rightly so, but to go beyond that into exaltation, adoration and in praying to her is sin.
Holy Spirit has come to fill us all with His power and His gifting. It wasn't just for the twelve. 120 people were filled and converted 3000 people that first day. From that time to this, millions and millions are being filled and empowered by the Holy Spirit according to the promise of Jesus.
If one rejects the bible, then one rejects God. Rejecting His word as inspired through the people He has chosen to speak through is one thing, but to promote this rejection and to teach others to do the same is blatant error.
It isn't important for us to know where Mary was buried. The bible hardly mentions her. It's about Jesus!
She was not like Enoch. You can't make stuff up about a falsely exalted person.
I see the reference now.
That is how the angel addressed Mary, and also her cousin Elizabeth. It is not a format for prayer to her. She is not worthy of our prayer.
Correct. A baby will grow to come to faith when we obey God in raising them the way He trusts us to do.
Getting to the point is important. So, let's see the exact scripture that teaches us that a baby can believe and repent of sin and then obey God in baptism.
If man contributes nothing to salvation, then why take a baby to church to be baptized? Let him do it himself.
Still waiting for your definitive scripture as proof.
The sum of the volume of Catholic doctrine about Mary---leads people to begin to falsely consider her as the "Queen of Heaven", Co-Mediatrix, Co-Redemptrix, and of course, leads people into the heresy of the Rosary, where Mary is worshiped, adored, and summoned in prayer. So, the title of...
Actually, I do not make a mess of it. The two statements are true. God gives every man who will believe a measure of faith to actually believe. It is also true (and unrelated!), that no one can transfer faith to their offspring by some sort of religious rite.
Please give scriptural proof that a...
Oh, I've seen the links. They are just immature tripe based on a very poor understanding of scripture---and of course, of Jesus. Those who reject Paul also reject the Book of Acts, where Jesus sent His Spirit into the world, and therefore also miss the fact that we as believers are called to be...
