    Had a tough couple of days. Hubby lost his job yesterday. He has another week in Indiana in a couple of weeks. Then a job in NY in July. Then one more week in Indiana. Then he is done. The end of July he will have to look for a new job. We are a little numb over this. I didn't show up here...

    Ours was on "When God's Word and the world collide." We are to remember that our God is there, though the world turns it's back on him. Refers a lot to what's happening in our country today.

    Pros & Cons of being Lutheran

    The best thing about being Lutheran is that your faith does not depend on your feelings. It's what Christ did, not our emotions each day. Sorry, I can't think of con. My parents would look at Lutheranism as a con all the way around. They are staunch Baptists.
