Round 587 of the Is the L of Tulip godly or demonic?

It seems to me that such can be said of every person using CH. Each says "I am a Christians who accepts the Nicene Creed and Trinitarian Baptism" but that does not make it so, such is the implication of the reply you've given. Thus a person cannot say "I am a Christian" and expect to be...

Round 587 of the Is the L of Tulip godly or demonic?

If only that were so. I watch the news where people say shocking things in support of a particular politician and at the same time say they want Christian family values, and a good number who say the shocking things attend church quite regularly.

Round 587 of the Is the L of Tulip godly or demonic?

I have some doubts concerning the phrase "salvation is by Faith through Grace", but mainly because it is so often concatenated with "alone" or some similar word to mean that one's way of life, faithfulness, and deeds play absolutely no role in one's final judgement at the end of the ages; and...

Round 587 of the Is the L of Tulip godly or demonic?

That's fairly innocuous. But you are treading on thin ice with the word "elect" used in that way. I prefer to think of the elect as those who the Church intends to receive into baptism, having examined them after they have been catechised. Salvation is complex to describe and define the moment...

    Should Christians Lobby?

Do you think that Christians ought to lobby for social and societal good? For example, some among the elderly and some with disabilities have a hard time smart phones because of the way their user interface works, so should Christians lobby phone makers to make the user interface better for...

Consider resetting your passwords if you use the same one on other sites

You could try a VPN, but it would not protect you from a hacker gaining access to unencrypted passwords on another site.

Round 587 of the Is the L of Tulip godly or demonic?

I imagine that most folk have decided one way or the other if Limited Atonement is a godly doctrine of grace unmitigated or a demonic slander against the loving and good God who revealed himself in Jesus Christ. But perhaps another round of the eternal battle is called for.

    Air Fryer

No dishwasher is needed. Just take the drawer out, fill it with warm water and some dish washing suds, then leave it for 30 minutes and come back and use a sponge to clean it, rinse it, and then it is ready to be put back in.

    Air Fryer

Here in Oz we have K-Mart, it is cheap as chips and makes good stuff - via its Chinese partners, no doubt. I bought an air fryer from them. Its brand is Anko. It cost very little ($39 AUD). It works very well, is quite easy to clean, and it makes tasty food!

Latin makes for good bibles in English

Today I received, as a package delivered by FedEx a leather bound copy of the Knox Bible. Translated by Ronald A Knox from Latin into English, it is a very attractive volume, gilt edged paper, nice print, leather cover that smells of leather. I am very pleased with it. It has a sewn binding...

    Predictability

Having the same few chatters replying to the threads created here there is an element of predictability in the responses on any given subject. What CH needs is new responders. Or new topics. Or existing responders to change their theology. :)
