    Do we need prophets today?

    Right. No “predicting-the-future-new-Revelation” prophets today.

Isaac was the only son God promised to Abraham and Sarah. Ishmael was Abraham trying to do things his way instead of God’s way. God continued with His own plan, and disregarded Abraham’s, in regard to Messiah coming to earth through the line of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Judah.

    Do we need prophets today?

We may need them but we don’t have them. Bunch of fakers.

    Is Sabbath, Saturday or Sunday.

The sabbath was not given to man at creation but was made known to Israel in the time of Moses, which is when Moses wrote down the revelation that God gave of the creation. We have no history from the time of creation--Moses wrote the story of creation about 3500 years ago, so for 2500 years...

USA MY Take on Trump v Biden

One must also take into account the colloquial usage of a word. A word means what it means to the people who use it. Most non-Catholics, when they read or hear the word "catholic", do NOT think of "universal". They think of "Catholic", which is someone who thinks the pope is the head of the...

    Is Sabbath, Saturday or Sunday.

Romans 1:13. Maybe I posted it on the wrong thread. Sorry, if I did.

    Is Sabbath, Saturday or Sunday.

The Sabbath is not abolished. It's a sign between God and Israel, not God and the Church. It exists, but is not applicable to the Church. You can still rest on the Sabbath (it was a rest day, not a worship day) and you then you can go to church services on Sunday. End of story.

    Read verses 1-13.

    Is Sabbath, Saturday or Sunday.

The sabbath commandment is not repeated in the New Testament, by the Lord Jesus nor any disciple.

    Is Sabbath, Saturday or Sunday.

Not abolished. It’s a sign between God and Israel and is still observed in Israel today, as it should be. It’s not sign between God and the Christian church.

    Is Sabbath, Saturday or Sunday.

It’s there. I checked it before I posted to be sure I had the address correct.

    Is Sabbath, Saturday or Sunday.

Saturday for the Jews; Sunday for most Christians, but if a Christian prefers Saturday, that's fine. Romans 14.

USA MY Take on Trump v Biden

The Nicene Creed I believe in one God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and of all things visible and invisible. And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, begotten of the Father before all worlds; God of God, Light of Light, very God of very God; begotten, not...

Are Christians obligated to keep the Sabbath?

The sabbath is a sign between God and Israel, not God and the Church. There is certainly no harm in keeping the Sabbath, or in keeping Sunday, or in keeping both, but it is not a command to the Church.

Is this the Recipe for the ''Blood'' of Jesus. Living water that cures suffering of thirst?

The living water the Lord Jesus spoke of is the Holy Spirit: John 7:37-39 37In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. 38He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers...

    Nit-picky election question

A legal vote is when you are a registered voter and you vote either in person (showing your ID) or you request a mail-in ballot using the procedures required in your State.

    Nit-picky election question

The point is this: Only legal votes should be counted. That will make a difference.

Parents separating kids because of vote

I had family members (not immediate family) who hate President Trump so badly on FB that I just didn't have anything to do with them there anymore. They don't live anywhere near, so we don't communicate. It's ok to prefer one or the other, but out and out anger and hatred is going too far.
