    Three Tenses of Salvation

The context tells us whether the salvation is physical or spiritual. There are two distinct salvations , one being physical as you pointed out and spiritual as Jesus spoke about and the apostles wrote about.

    Justification - Part 2

God is the Author of salvation and I never denied that! Works before salvation are filthy rags. It’s only after one is saved that his works count as something. Works alone produce nothing. However faith produces good works. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Justification - Part 2

It also says a man is justified apart from works! Which is correct? Romans 3 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified as a gift by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus; Where then is boasting? It is excluded. By what kind of law? Of works...

    Justification - Part 2

This verse was one of the reasons the Book of James was not added to the Canon until much later. Because in Romans 4 Paul writes that Abraham was not justified by works. James writes that he is justified by them. Faith produces works. Without faith works is dead. Without works faith is dead...

    Justification - Part 2

Try keeping James in context please. Continuing where you left off You see that faith was working with his works, as a result of the works, faith was perfected; and the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “ And Abraham believed God, and it was reckoned to him as righteousness,” and he was...

    Justification - Part 2

Exactly! That’s what I have been saying! Faith produces works, yes. Our faith justifies us to do those works as Paul wrote in Ephesians 2:8-10 v 10 being the verse dealing with works. Faith without works is dead so if someone says they have faith yet their life doesn’t show it, that is a...

    Justification - Part 2

That is only one side of the coin. You need to look at both sides. Paul quotes Isaiah after he says “For if Abraham was justified by works, he has something to boast about, but not before God. For what does the Scripture say? “ Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as...
