Has the media truly become the enemy of the people?

The video I posted is one of four. I said that in the post. I couldn't up-load the other three, but the first links to the others

So... What are YOU doing? - Part 6

Going out and ignoring certain threads for the day :/

Has the media truly become the enemy of the people?

I'm asking you again to please watch what I posted. There is context. Everyone there was excited and excitable. I haven't said different. The native man yelling "go back to Europe" was wrong. Does that satisfy you? Look, nothing happens in a vacuum. The man was in an argument with one (or more)...

Has the media truly become the enemy of the people?

Here's why I posted those videos - It shows quite a bit more. Yes, the hebrews were attacking those kids. Quite viciously. I don't understand that kind of vitriol, and why groups see any need to do it. The reason I asked "who were they harassing" was because they were also harassing some of the...

Has the media truly become the enemy of the people?

Andrew - Care to address these questions?

Has the media truly become the enemy of the people?

I've done no such thing, except to juxtapose "team spirit" with a man just "banging a drum" - one acceptable, the other not, right? I've already said I watched it About what? A bit presumptive, isn't it?

Has the media truly become the enemy of the people?

That didn't answer my point in post 23

Has the media truly become the enemy of the people?

I've watched those videos before. Was he being untruthful? How? About what? It's evident the hebrew israelites were aggressors here. Have I said different. But who were they aggressive toward? I didn't post the right-wing blogger nonsense in post #16. I'll state what I want, when I want

Has the media truly become the enemy of the people?

School kids get a pass for "chants and team spirit" but "Indians" are just "banging (their) drum". Gotcha. Perhaps one of them should have removed his shirt and flexed a little... :/

Has the media truly become the enemy of the people?

The man "banging a drum" as you say had a purpose for playing that drum, and it's not what you think. Perhaps you might spend some time to find out. As for the kid, he could move, he could have done a number of different things - anyone could have. But no-one did. As for the man saying "go back...

Has the media truly become the enemy of the people?

I'm assuming from some of the responses here that the attempts by right-wing bloggers to "correct" stories somehow shed light on "truth"? Are we that naive to believe that Mr. "What's Really Going On" (post 16) has any less an agenda than CNN/Fox/MSNBC? Would some raw video help...

So... What are YOU doing? - Part 6

Laundry day! Since I didn't do any the last days I had off, I have quite the mound staring at me. I need to talk to the landlord about putting up an adjoining laundry room between my suite and the house. The machine is just on the other side of the common door.

So... What are YOU doing? - Part 6

That's one of the home repairs I actually learned to do myself. It took me a bit, but finally got it. I almost never attempt things like that so it was quite the big deal that it worked! Not a handy-man in the least :D

    The Simple Original Apostolic Gospel

Okay, some assumptions are being made here as to where dialogue might go should the challenge be answered. First is that certain points are somehow "emotionally important". I would suggest as well this is a poor foundation for one's beliefs. Belief requires intellectual assent and study - not to...

So... What are YOU doing? - Part 6

What food looks disgusting but tastes delicious?

My co-workers are having "Pho" (Korean?) - most of it is really pretty disgusting, but one has this beef soup with a nice looking broth and noodles. That one looks good

    NFL

That's fair. KC didn't necessarily roll over and die yesterday either. It was a game to the end and Pats prevailed. But good on KC for coming back and making it a competition
