What's the difference between God's will be done and "God wants all..."

Would D. A. Carson or Jonathan Edwards say or believe that God is cruel because He makes some to sin and others not? I doubt it. They were men of God who studied the Word thoroughly not partially. Did God actually hate Esau? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

What's the difference between God's will be done and "God wants all..."

What's the difference between God's will be done and "God wants all..." So are you saying Job was not able to sin yet Adam was? It sounds as though you are. Also you took Romans 9 out of context to form your own pretext. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Salvation

For this reason I endure all things for the sake of those who are chosen, so that they also may obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus and with it eternal glory. It is a trustworthy statement: For if we died with Him, we will also live with Him; If we endure, we will also reign with Him...

What's the difference between God's will be done and "God wants all..."

So you are saying that man has God’s ordained will. Free will might be a philosophy, can you say the same thing about choice? After all man chose to disobey. Man was not preordained to sin. Was he? Are you saying God preordained man to sin? Job did not sin. Adam and Eve did. Both has similar...

What's the difference between God's will be done and "God wants all..."

If man had no free will to begin with he would not have been able to sin in the first place! So if there is no free will why is there sin? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

(No Debate) What things would make you leave your church?

I think what the author means is what would make you leave your local congregation ? Not the Body of Christ. We could not leave the Body of Christ if we wanted. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Justification - Part 2

Arsenios Being justified does not mean that we are now sinless. Sin has no bearing on our justification since we are justified by our faith. We remain sinners after justification takes place, sanctification comes as a result of justification. Our faith justifies us; our works sanctify us...

    Justification - Part 2

Justification is a one time act. Sanctification is a progressive process So I would assume that justification comes first. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Justification - Part 2

The mistake you are making is taking James alone and not using the rest of the Scriptures to validate your point. After all James was not the only one who wrote about justification. Paul did and so did Peter. Focus on only 1 Bible verse is not exegesis.

What is the Church Age Theory?

I know what the church age is. I assume the theory is similar. The church began at Pentecost and exists until now and will until the end of the age. (Age meaning a period of time) Gk aeon This is called the ‘church age’. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Justification - Part 2

You seem to be talking in circles. Using different words and saying the same thing. Either Scripture comparison is correct or it isn’t. Can’t be both as you are trying to make it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

What's the difference between God's will be done and "God wants all..."

You misunderstood. What I meant was that God had one will yet there are two aspects of that will, not that God has two wills. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Justification - Part 2

One verse doesn't and in fact cannot formulate a doctrine. It is a matter of comparing Scripture with Scripture.

What's the difference between God's will be done and "God wants all..."

The one is His sovereign will, meaning that what He said or pre ordained will come to pass. The other is His permissive will, where we have a say in the matter. He wants all to be saved yet not all will come to him. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
