    No it’s not. The English version of church comes from the Gaelic word kurk (assembly) The Greek word is ekklesia elect ekklektoi. Εκκλεκτοι means those chosen out from not assembly. Εκκλησία has the same meaning. Check it out Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
