Dr. McArthur is a very strict Calvinist. His views are quite in the same vein as yours so I'm not surprised at his out-of-context comment about making one's "calling and election sure". While I now take a different "view" as it were on the mode of baptism, I recall well my own (second) baptism (of the 'Credobaptism' type) and I'll never forget the experience. There is a significance to the full immersion that was very personal to me at the time
