I read somewhere (I'm not sure how true this is, to be fair) that the suicide rate among transgenders is much higher than the average person..so wouldnt that be a huge risk? Like for example..a transgender person could attempt suicide while serving and end up accidentally killing a fellow...

I agree with Tango. Honestly I have nothing against trangendered, etc people..I know its who you are and you were born that way and i get it....but the military is supposed to be the best of the best in combat....and if allowing transgenders prevents that then dont let them in..the military...

I dont know what to think...is it really a good idea to let people in the military with mental health issues..and on top of that they might get PTSD which they will have to deal with...so maybe this isnt a bad idea.. on the other hand..who says Transgenders cant be good soldiers..lets say you...
