    Pope John Paul II

The Boston Globe did a good job on this 20 or so years ago. And it's a corrupt system going all the way to the top. But you are right. Institutional churches are franchise businesses that sell goodies to believers. Essentially, so they leave each service, feeling good about themselves, thinking...

Jesus died for the sins of the world

Why not take a swing at it? See what you come up with. Here it is again. John 10 shows that Jesus did not die for the Pharisees in his audience and that is why they did not believe. “I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.” John 10:11 (KJV 1900) “But ye...

    Were the Reformers Saved?

How closely did these mirror, Jesus? John says if any have not the Sermon on the Mount, they do not have God. Have you ever heard it preached in your Church?

Jesus died for the sins of the world

It IS Salvation. But choosing to believe with the flesh is damnation. If you have true faith, you are saved, faith proves that. But if you must choose to believe, you don't have true faith and are lost.

Jesus died for the sins of the world

If Jesus paid for everyone's sins, they would be saved. Are you saying He did not? “For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;” 1 Corinthians 15:3 (KJV 1900)

Jesus died for the sins of the world

God can open eyes and ears, but until he does, people cannot grasp the meaning of spiritual truth.

Jesus died for the sins of the world

If faith is the fruit of the Holy Spirit, how can you have faith before you have the Holy Spirit? You might say well, that's simple, just choose to believe. But that is not faith, it's the flesh trying to produce it and it cannot save a person. If you believe, yo won't need to choose to believe.

Jesus died for the sins of the world

I've always said only those whom God saves can have true faith. The rest who choose to believe are only fooling themselves.

    Were the Reformers Saved?

If Luther lived by what he later preached, that a Christian must yield to the State first, even to the point of stabbing, robbing, and killing in its defense, no matter how wicked the ruler might be, the Reformation would not have taken place as far as it concerned him. E.G. Rupp and Benjamin...
