    What are some biblical insights that you can get out of the movie Aladdin?

    Particularly the “Whole New World” scene where they fly the magic carpet through the clouds? I see it as Christ giving his bride (the church) a tour through a new heavenly kingdom.

    Should Christians be rich?

    Solomon was very wealthy. And the Bible doesn’t condemn him for that. Abraham was very wealthy. God made Jacob wealthy while living under Laban. But then Jesus said that it’s hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. How do we solve this supposed contradiction?

    What do you think should be a Christian church’s stance on smoking weed?

    Should the church condemn it, or not? I’ve never smoked marijuana, and I think it smells terrible, and I wish it was still illegal. That’s what I think. But I can’t say I have any biblical doctrine to condemn it.

    I understand that Elijah never died, but Moses did. So how is Jesus not disobeying the law when he spoke with Moses and Elijah on the Mount of transfiguration?
