It tried to download for me about six times yesterday. Each time failed. According to Microsoft Online support, "this is to be expected...". Would have been nice to know before all the hype. Avast antivirus does the job for me. it's free and warns quickly of any potential threats. Good at blocking malware, does a decent job scanning. There's a paid version, but I don't see a difference in what it would do.
