I am asking those who pray and know their God, to please uplift me (brother A.) in prayer daily, constantly. I am a 48 years old male, and am still going through ongoing, continual, pain, misery, illness and other issues.
Background, for this:
A long story short, two years ago (Jan. 2024), I nearly died of blood infection to the face / head, by Staph / MRSA, and was nearly septic, and in so much head pain it felt like a large truck sitting on my head, and was ER'ed by ambulance, and hospitalized there at LBJ in A.S (I went as a missionary Bible worker, and stayed for five years).; and while there under 4-5 powerful antibiotics, and hydromorphones (which weren't doing much for the pain I was in). While there, for a total of three weeks combined, I also contracted Hospital Pneumonia, and given additional antibiotics. In that same country, beforehand, I also had extreme (both ends projectile) food poisoning twice (activated charcoal saved my life twice), among other infectious bites (and activated charcoal, turmeric, grated potato helped to recover, but still have scars on legs and feet).
I came back to the states (Mar. 2024), very much still ill (and on antibiotics), and was suddenly gaining weight (for no apparent reason), breaking out on upper arms and upper thighs (and still have scarring left over), and felt more tired than I ever had been, and was experiencing serious intestinal issues. Fast forward unto ending of 2025, Nov.-Dec., continued in deteriorating conditions, such as intestinal bloating, gas, distension, fiery headaches (all day), tiredness, head / ear pressure like drowning, ear fluid in both ears, ear (eustachian tube) clicking, and a high pitch almost nerve-whine in my head (not tinnitus, not in ear, but in head behind ears, like nerves are on fire or alarming all the time), extreme nausea (which is the worst part of it all, for hours and hours, all day), aching, sometimes feel feverish, other times like hot / cold sweats, and the feeling of pressure on my lungs and heart (being pushed up by diaphragm due to intestinal bloating) so it is like I cannot catch my breath though the airways are clear. I still had no medical, no insurance at this time.
In Nov. (2025) I was eventually, in seriously ill condition, taken to Kaiser (ER), Roseville, CA (for the 1st time; as that is where my parents have medical, and I used to, as a child have such there) and put in a wheelchair, and after hours of waiting, and having a blood test, urine test, chest x-ray, abdominal x-ray, right shoulder x-ray (continued internal pain from 9 years after an Rototiller accident injury, loss of range of motion, loss of strength, &c.), EKG, and finally given some anti-nausea medication, and pain-killers, the ER female doctor simply said it was "IBS", and sent me home. The condition I was in, I cannot truly describe. Three days of continued suffering, I was again (2nd time) taken to the Kaiser (ER), Roseville, CA, in absolute misery, and in worse condition.
Upon the 2nd ER admission, in triage, and after standard blood and urine tests, I begged the nurses and doctor for an ultra-sound and C.T. on the abdomen, which after a few hours, they finally did, as well as a requested ultra-sound on the lower 'male region' (a golf-ball sized object). They found there were 'gall stones' which was blocking the gall duct, which was blocking the bile which breaks down fats (which was why I was gaining weight unexpectedly, 50-60 lbs). Under medication, anti-nausea, anti-pain, and on a hospital gurney bed in a hallway (for hours), I was approached by a Kaiser (ER) Surgeon, who said I should have immediate Emergency gall bladder surgery, a cholesystectomy. I had no other options at that time, and the people in health clinics I had contacted did not answer, so reluctantly, I went with the advice to do the surgery (and my sister's own husband had just recently gone through similar experiences, and made it out, after recovery, 'ok' and is not doing too bad). I was held over night, and the next day (Dec. 11th 2025), was prepped for surgery, and went under anesthesia and the 'knife'. The Surgeon and assistants were all very kind, and caring. I awoke in pain, with four knife cuts in the abdomen (and know have those scars, healed, and was given pain killers to help. I was groggy and was sent home after awake enough. The next weeks were spent in additional pain to recover from the surgery, but that is not all.
For 3 days, I was 'ok' in the head, and the regular abdominal pain seemed gone (and only had the surgical cuts to deal with), but I had not eaten much in those days either, but then all the original symptoms came back, with a vengeance. I was immediately taken back to Kaiser (ER), Roseville, CA for the 3rd time. They immediately did another blood test, urine, and abdominal ultra-sound and C.T. to check for residual stones, blockages, problems with the surgery. They found nothing that they could address surgically. I was sent home in pain, with anti-nausea (like ondansetron, reglan), and anti-pain meds (NORCO, Tylenol, Ibuprofen, etc.) again. My parents did not want to bring me in again, so for about 2 weeks the same symptoms continued, and I could not take the pain, nausea any more. I was taken in, after begging.
Upon the 4th Kaiser (ER) Roseville, CA visit, basics were done (blood & urine), blood pressure, etc. They did another abdominal x-ray, and found nothing that they could address, but said I might have a form of colitis and I was given anti-nausea, and anti-pain and sent home.
A week or so (hard to tell time when in so much pain, misery, the days blur) later, I was back in the same Kaiser (ER) Roseville, CA, for the 5th time, in such pain, literally crying and placed in a wheelchair (as I could not walk, do to extreme nausea), and after waiting 6+ hours, and the standard admission tests (blood, urine, blood pressure), an ER 'doctor' (and I do not mean that at all) came up to me in the triage hallway, talked to me for about 2 minutes, ordered another x-ray (which I told him not to) and another test (also told not to), and would not listen to me. I came back from the two tests, waited in waiting room in pain, in tears, and rolled again into nurse triage hallway, and the same 'doctor' came to me, said I had "IBS" (never even suggested "PCS" or "BAM" or "BAD", or "colitis", etc.) and was "mental" (the symptoms were just in my head and not real), and cut me off twice, as I am literally crying in front of him in pain. He gave me no pain meds, nothing for nausea, and did nothing, and told the nurses nearby to discharge me. I was wheeled literally weeping, and completely distraught, to discharge, barely able to sign out, and was wheeled to waiting room to wait for parents to come back from eating their late dinner to pick me up and take me home. I filed two disputes with Kaiser, one for the misdiagnosis the first time, one for the treatment on the last visit, and filed a direct review for that last 'doctor'. They only ever acknowledged that they received the complaints, but never sent me anything about something being done, but were 'kind' enough to bill me ($40K-ish) (No, I am not asking anyone for money, just prayer).
