This is a
big prophetic question — not “what are the signs,” but
what are the objectives that God allows or initiates to
begin the end‑time scenario.
A Post‑Trib, Scripture‑anchored framework gives us a very clear set of
divine objectives that launch the final sequence. These aren’t random events — they are
intentional moves of God that set the stage for the return of Jesus.
THE 7 OBJECTIVES THAT INITIATE THE END‑TIME SCENARIO
Each one is a divine purpose, not just a sign.
To Bring the Gospel to Its Final Global Reach
Objective: Complete the Great Commission
Scripture: Matthew 24:14
Before anything else escalates, Jesus says the gospel must reach
every nation, tribe, and language.
This is the
trigger condition for the end to begin.
Purpose:
- Final invitation
- Final witness
- Final accountability
This is God’s mercy before judgment.
To Allow the Rise of a Global System That Tests Allegiance
Objective: Expose the loyalties of humanity
Scripture: Revelation 13
The Beast system is not just political — it is
spiritual sorting.
Purpose:
- Reveal who worships God
- Reveal who worships power
- Force a choice that cannot be faked
This is the great separation before the harvest.
To Purify and Strengthen the Church
Objective: Produce an overcoming, faithful remnant
Scripture: Daniel 11:32–35; Revelation 12:11
Tribulation is not designed to destroy the Church — it is designed to
refine it.
Purpose:
- Remove compromise
- Strengthen endurance
- Produce bold witness
- Prepare the Bride for the Bridegroom
This is the Church’s final maturation.
To Judge Corrupt World Systems
Objective: Bring down the powers that oppose God
Scripture: Revelation 18
Before Jesus returns, God begins dismantling:
- corrupt economies
- oppressive governments
- violent empires
- spiritual Babylon
Purpose:
To clear the stage for the Kingdom of Christ.
To Protect God’s People While the World Shakes
Objective: Distinguish the righteous from the wicked
Scripture: Revelation 7; Revelation 9:4
Just like Goshen in Exodus, God marks His people for
protection from His wrath, even while they endure persecution.
Purpose:
- Seal the saints
- Shield them from divine judgments
- Empower them to stand
This is divine covering in the midst of chaos.
To Confront Satan’s Final Rebellion
Objective: Allow evil to reach full maturity
Scripture: 2 Thessalonians 2:3–8
God allows the “man of lawlessness” to be revealed so that:
- evil is fully exposed
- Satan’s kingdom is unmasked
- the final confrontation becomes unavoidable
Purpose:
To bring evil to its final judgment.
To Prepare the World for the Visible Return of Jesus
Objective: Create global conditions where Christ’s return is unmistakable
Scripture: Matthew 24:29–31
The cosmic signs, global shaking, and collapse of earthly powers all serve one purpose:
To make the world look up.
Purpose:
- Remove all false hopes
- Reveal the true King
- Prepare every eye to see Him
This is the climax of the entire scenario.
THE END-TIME SCENARIO OVERLAY

This is the
strategic architecture of the end‑time scenario.
This is one of those questions where clarity matters more than drama. When you strip away speculation and stick to Scripture, the Bible gives a
very specific set of prerequisites that must unfold
before the Great Tribulation begins.
Below is an overlay — the
biblical pre‑tribulation prerequisites, not traditions or theories.
WHAT MUST HAPPEN BEFORE THE TRIBULATION BEGINS
A precise, Scripture‑anchored sequence.
The Gospel Must Reach All Nations
Scripture: Matthew 24:14
Jesus gives this as the
only explicit prerequisite before “the end” begins.
Meaning:
- Every ethnic group (Greek: ethnos) must receive the gospel.
- This is not about political borders but people groups.
- It is a global witness, not global conversion.
Purpose: God gives the world a final invitation before judgment.
The Falling Away (Apostasy) Must Occur
Scripture: 2 Thessalonians 2:3
Paul says the Day of the Lord cannot begin until there is a
massive departure from the faith.
Characteristics:
- Widespread deception
- Abandoning biblical truth
- False teachers rising
- Cultural pressure reshaping churches
This is a
spiritual collapse inside the visible church.
The Man of Lawlessness Must Be Revealed
Scripture: 2 Thessalonians 2:3–4
Paul is explicit:
The Antichrist must be
revealed before the Day of the Lord (which includes the Tribulation).
What “revealed” means:
- Public emergence
- Global recognition
- Political authority
- Blasphemous self‑exaltation
- Opposes God openly
This is not secret. It is
visible and undeniable.
The Restrainer Must Step Aside
Scripture: 2 Thessalonians 2:6–7
Before the Antichrist rises, the “restrainer” must be
removed from the way.
Interpretations vary, but the function is clear:
- Evil is currently held back
- A divine restraint prevents the Antichrist’s rise
- When lifted, lawlessness accelerate
This is a
cosmic permission slip for the final conflict.
A Global System Must Begin Forming
Scripture: Revelation 13
Before the Tribulation formally begins, the infrastructure of the Beast system must be
in motion.
Components:
- Global political authority
- Economic control
- Surveillance or identification system
- Religious or ideological unity
This is the
pre‑Tribulation scaffolding.
Israel Must Be Back in the Land
Scripture: Daniel 9:27; Matthew 24:15
The Tribulation involves:
- Jerusalem
- The Temple Mount
- A covenant involving Israel
- The “abomination of desolation”
These require Israel to exist as a nation — which it now does.
A Covenant or Agreement Must Be Established
Scripture: Daniel 9:27
The Tribulation begins when the Antichrist
confirms a covenant with many.
This is the official trigger:
- A political agreement
- Involving Israel
- Confirmed or strengthened by the Antichrist
This is the
start line of the seven‑year sequence.
