    If you've never really read it, I'd suggest starting with the gospels. Maybe read Mark first and then John. Then look at some of Paul's letters, and Acts. Once you've got a bit of a handle on the New Testament, look at some of the Old Testament and see how the OT points forward to what the NT...

I meant to make some progress this week but time got on, and with the granddaughters coming to visit last night I wanted the space cleaned up with the wood and power tools removed.     The maple bowl is finished on the lathe. It's tricky to sand on the lathe because the fibers cut one way and then lay flat when I sand.     Yesterday I turned another small bowl out of a piece of sycamore. Today I've mounted a smaller piece maple on the lathe ready to be turned into something. I don't know what yet, I'll see what shape it wants to form when I start working on it.
