That's sad news. Electric seems to be the wave of the future, for reasons that may be a bit misguided, at the expense of the true "driver's experience"
And yet, the pick-up and SUV seem to have long lives in front of them, with restrictive costs outside the realm of mass consumers
Our family lived in Kansas for a few years when I was growing up. I distinctly recall walking with my mom to a 7-11 for a slurpee - about an hour round-trip. It was over 100 Farenheit. I was always out walking or riding bikes with my friends.

6'4 here, and I get it. I also have high arches, bad knees, and some nerve damage in my legs, so I'm trip prone and lose balance at times. It is a long way down and I don't go down gracefully

Hoodies are awesome in winter or late Fall weather. I have a few that are pull-over (my preference) and I wear some ear warmers underneath. Very Toast-y. I'm leery, though, of those with the hoods up in the middle of summer with no reasonable need for them (as far as I know)

The one at work, I will empty out the water resevoir and fill it just enough with filtered or spring water before I make coffee. One of these weekends I'm going to take in some cleaner, too :D
My opinion only - If one goes into a profession holding on to personal beliefs so tightly that it will affect another person's security (physical, mental, emptional, spiritual), then that person should consider leaving the profession for one that will align with their beliefs
I was going to say the toaster oven/air fryer, but forgot ( :O ) about the trusty Keurig. Keurig ftw! If I took any type of road trips It'd be going with me, too!
