Favorite type of cuisine?

I can't nail down a favorite, since I love mixing together various cuisines and seeing how they work together to accomplish the goal of providing a great taste.

If I had to pick one it would probably be Thai.

I love Indian food and Chinese food, and Thai often seems like a good blend of the two. That said I do like a good lamb vindaloo but usually need extra spices in it.

I love a variety of types of cuisine. When I have a taste for it I like Chinese, Italian, Mexican, Barbq. I can't nail down a favorite because I love them all.

Mexican, Italian, Chinese, Indian, Greek, Persian, American (BBQ! Feel Good Foods)...

But those are usually "going-out-to-eat" things for me. One of the many GREAT things about living in Southern California (with about 30 million others) is the GREAT and diverse restaurants.

My cooking is SIMPLE: lots of fresh fish.... lots of salads.... a bit of fresh bread.... some nice wine. Keeps me going. Simple, quick meals. No dessert (I'm not a sweets person).

Booooo! I love my sweets! I have such a bad sweet tooth and always have! I've noticed though that as I get older I can't have the really super sweet things or it's gross.

On a HOT day like today, I like some ice cream.... at an Italian place, I'm up for some Cannoli... and I'll eat cheese cake (no topping, please).... but otherwise, I skip dessert. As a kid, I remember having (and going to) lots of birthday parties with cake, and kind of shocking others when I passed on the sweets (and the punch)...

Interesting, cheesecake is one of not very many desserts I don't much care for. Most other desserts work for my taste although sadly they don't work so well for my waist.

My own cooking is my favourite and it is eclectic - a mixture of Thai, English, Swedish, Italian, Greek, French, and all manner of other cuisines ... very yummy.
