Yes I believe it partly, sawing and reaping works, God cares for you, but Paul also had times he had nothing and Jesus didn't live in a palace. Two extremes, be poor as a munk, preachers get nothing and may go to a food bank or this craziness of living in a castle and have a private jet. Yet the poor people in their churches are asked for tithes. The pharisees did that too, eat the houses of the widows.
Preaching the tithe is truth. The lie is, you don't have to honor the Word. Our Father's Word is tied up in His promise about the tithe. And if you do not pay the tithe, you are robbing God and you will suffer loss.
Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.
Malichi 3:8 Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.
9 Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation.
10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.
11 And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the Lord of hosts.
12 And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the Lord of hosts.
So we need to read trust our Father's Word.
Jer. 1:12 Then said the Lord unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it.
