Thinking that M&Ms were better than money because you could eat them.

Knowing that whatever you broke you could get it fixed by gathering up the parts (in whatever condition) and handing them over with the words "Daddy mend".

Knowing that all the money I had was mine, I didn't have to fill in a form at the end of the year to figure out how much the government was going to take away.
Ah yes, that was a great time to be alive

what i miss about being a kid is..life was so much better then. i mean society in general was relaxed and not so much in a hurry like now. everything is fast paced with technology. plus, i used to get in the theatre for free because the manager was a good friend of family. and i remember when my parents used to own their own restaurant near the theatre..i used to play hide and seek and greet the customers. and after school, i used to stop by the candy shop and buy up yummy chocolate bars and sour candy. both the theatre and the sweet shop is gone now

I had a fairly good childhood. But I can't say I miss anything.

What? Does that mean you still do the same things you did as a kid? :D

Yeah, like when the machines at the dining hall back at school were not working and they would have to manually enter the student IDs, so people were not stealing.

Running through sprinklers, water pistol fights, hanging upside down on monkey bars (or walking across the top of them), tobogganing down the same hills all day long without getting tired and then going home to hot cocoa with real marshmallows, singing at the top of my lungs and not caring what it sounded like, seeing how high I could go on the swing and then jump off, running through the cool grass without shoes on, jumping in mud puddles to see how far you could send the splash.... oh, so many memories of things I miss....

Easier? Um but I thought the new tech stuff made life easier?

Computers make life much easier, if you're a support tech who gets paid to make it all work again.

I remember the days when every once in a while I needed to go into the server room in the basement, where full tower PCs were lined up in a row along a bench. There were days when I wanted to see what would happen if I pushed the first one over...

I am not really good at making change, but that is mostly because I have trouble telling the difference between Niceals and quarters.
