Hi all,
The first forum addition is the addition of the Charismatic section within the Denominational Discussion category.
Hum, there is no denomination or faith community named "Charismatic." That usually describes a block of ideas and practices that often are found in many denominations - LDS, Catholic, Presbyterian, Baptist, Lutheran, etc. While SOME denominations - Assembly of God for example - makes a point of embracing some or most of these ideas and practices, such is a tiny aspect of that denomination and most in that denomination are not Charistmatic. I think it is fine - even good - to have a discussion forum for that, but in my view, it belongs as a discussion topic rather than in denominations. Along with dispensationalism, Creationism and a great many other topics some - in various denominations - like to discuss.
As for faith communities - IMO a better title than "denomination" - it might be good to include Reformed/Presbyterian. I think we have a few of that community already here at CH.
As for TOPICS - like Charismatic - how about others such as Baptism, Communion/Eucharist, End Times/Death/Dispensationalism, The Church, Christian History.... We could just lump all that into "theology" and that will work for awhile.
Just my half cent.... Welcomed to totally ignore....
Thanks for the site; it's appreciated very much
Pax
