Looks like there is no hover any more. There used to be. Perhaps it is broken.

I noticed with the hover that when I first post my scripture source that it won't hover until I return to the thread.

I've just returned to this thread - after having a pleasant night's sleep - and the reference to John 3:16 is not showing the text of the verse when I hover the mouse pointer over it.

What I read online about our chatbox is that if your connection speed is slow it might not load.

The chat box is slower to load than any other part of the page so maybe a slow connection could leave it empty for a long time.

It happens with firefox. I see the link/popup with chrome and with Edge

There's a lot of malfunctions happening. The like button isn't doesn't work now and the subscription button not too much. I'm on Chrome and that's the browser that's most convenient for me. No I'm on the laptop again because the cellphone was too finicky and the old tablet won't connect to internet.

I'm using Firefox with no problems. I can also see the pop up on my phone's browser without logging in. It's possible this is something in your browser settings causing the problem.

Are you using a proxy? I think I asked that before and you said no.

What do you mean by proxy? I'm on a regular server if that's what you mean and not a private server. It may be that I'm having a hard time navigating this forum and am taxing it too much. idk

I would ask if you have javascript enabled but at one point you were able to press Like and have it work so it must be something different.

Try clearing your cache and deleting your history and all those good things. When I used to work and a user would have problems that was the first thing we recommended. A reboot afterwards and the problems went away.

yes that' possible. maybe a security setting or a security add on. I have both set for high security.

I've noticed something similar. I click a button or a link on a CH page and end up in some page I was in an hour ago and whatever I was doing either lost or recoverable only after pressing the "forward" browser navigation button.

It was working again last night. I have tuneups on my pc that are constantly cleaning so I don't think it could be that.
